Back in May, our Corby showroom won joint Showroom of the Year at the Laura Ashley Stockist Awards 2018. To celebrate their incredible achievement of which our very own Sue Crewe is “really excited” about, we want to look at some of the reasons why Corby thoroughly deserves its Award.
Originally launching in 2015, Corby was one of our flagship Howarth at Home showrooms and has seen a large amount of investment aimed at creating the perfect place to discover the latest kitchens.
A distinctive Laura Ashley section (separate from the rest of the Symphony collection) was added with a re-launch taking place in September 2017. This ambitious investment has clearly paid off as not only have the Laura Ashley kitchens seen excellent starting sales, but sales of other Symphony kitchens have also grown immensely.
The investment combined with the growing demand for kitchens in the wider area, we have taken on an additional Kitchen Designer.
One of the first things you notice when you walk up the stairs into the Howarth at Home Showroom in Corby is the sheer size and space that it has to offer.
Corby has the largest showroom across our entire group allowing an entire section to be dedicated specifically to the Laura Ashley Collection, thus giving it space to breathe and really show off what the ranges have to offer. Corby is one of the few showrooms that can demonstrate full kitchens including all cupboards and islands, giving you a real feel for how your dream kitchen could look.
Not only that, the showroom also includes a bedroom, a fantastic boot room and a bathroom featuring a selection of stunning Laura Ashley furnishings beautifully complemented by Laura Ashley accessories.
Of course, the showroom itself is only part of why Corby won this prestigious award. Another key factor is the personal service that Sue Crewe offers to all her customers; getting to know you, ensuring that you understand all the key features of each kitchen and guaranteeing that you find the perfect kitchen to meet your individual needs.
What does the Future hold for Howarth at Home Corby?
Sue is working on increasing the Laura Ashley section of the showroom to include the newly launched Helmsley [Helmsley isn’t on the website] kitchen and canopy. The Helmsley itself is playing a large part in the future of the showroom, as this kitchen will make up a desk area for the team’s newest member of staff.
Keeping the showroom up-to-date is an essential part of Sue’s plan for the showroom, with plans for a relaunch of the Laura Ashley area, aimed at attracting a wider audience and followed by a refurb in the main Symphony section.
Although Corby is our flagship branch, if it’s not in your area, many of our other Howarth at Home showrooms also display Laura Ashley kitchens.
