At Howarth At Home, we believe that our amazing Kitchen Designers are the real driving force of our showrooms. To help you get to know our amazing team, we put them on-the-spot in our new Meet the Designer series with a few questions.
This month we spoke to Victoria Pack the face of our showroom in Bury St Edmunds:
All About the Job:
How did you get started in this career?
Initially, I was renovating a Victorian house for a friend who then put me in touch with the owner of a kitchen design company. After working for them for nearly three years, I moved to Howarth Timber.
How long have you been in this career?
Three and a half years in total.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Ensuring that the customer has got what they wanted and seeing a design come together into a finished product.
Which is your favourite kitchen range, and why?
The Linear – I love the fresh, clean lines and the range of finishes available.
What one piece of advice would you give someone thinking about buying a kitchen?
Consider what works for you and how you would like to use your space.
Getting to Know You:
Who or what inspires you?
I get lots of inspiration from design museums and magazines. I particularly enjoy visiting London to view designs from around the world.
Where is your favourite place in the world?
Currently, my favourite place in the world is Singapore. It has vibrant art and culture, a stunning skyline and fantastic food.
What was the last film or TV series you watched?
I don’t really watch TV.
The Most Important Question:
Is it a cob, bun, bread cake or something else entirely?
I’m not sure what it is but could it be bread?
